The Wimberley Valley area is rich with a variety of things to do, see, and experience. There is definitely something for everyone, young and young-at- heart.

You can enjoy nature trails, hiking, rivers, and swimming holes locally in the Wimberley area such as, Blue Hole Regional Park, Jacob’s Well, Old Baldy, and Devil’s Backbone. Be sure to check out Wimberley Zipline for adventure! Or, travel a short distance to see: Pedernales Fall State Park, Enchanted Rock, Hamilton Pool.

Blue Hole Regional Park

Blue Hole Regional Park is a 126 acre park offering an outdoor theatre, hiking, swimming, soccer fields, and free concerts in April. Swimming reservations are required.

Jacob's Well

Only a 10-minute drive from BellaVida, Jacob’s Well Natural Area is an 81.5 acre preserve surrounding the breath-taking Jacob’s Well artesian spring. Free walking tours are every Saturday at 9:00 am and due to the popularity, swimming requires reservations in advance.

The Blanco River

The Blanco River can be accessed by permit within Wimberley, or just 20-minutes from BellaVida Bed and Breakfast at Blanco State Park.

Cultural Art

Wimberley is a Cultural Art District, as designated by The Texas Commission of the Arts. The Second Saturday of each month, you can enjoy the Gallery Trail with art galleries that are open late offering complimentary appetizers and wine. In addition to the art galleries that are within walking distance, you won’t
want to miss Silo Glass and Wimberley Glassworks showroom filled with gorgeous blown glass art of vases, bowls, seasonal pieces, lighting, and you can also watch glass being made.

Wedding Venues

Wimberley offers numerous natural, beautiful wedding venues. BellaVida Bed and Breakfast has 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 16 guests, making it a perfect place to gather with relatives attending the same wedding, or a place for the wedding party to stay and enjoy our outdoor games. BellaVida is only 20 minutes to Dripping Springs, Driftwood, and Blanco if you’re attending a wedding at one of their venues. The venues listed below are less than a 10-minute drive from BellaVida Bed and Breakfast.

We’re surrounded by breweries, distilleries, and wineries!

Wimberley Valley, Driftwood Estates Winery and Duchman Winery. If you prefer to take a limo and wine and dine as you travel, we highly recommend Jodie Meyer 512-667-0518 at Taste of the Hills. Many wineries and breweries have food trucks on their property.

Sunset

“The Stars at Night are Big and Bright” at BellaVida Bed and Breakfast (and we have the tee shirts!) Wimberley is designated as a Dark Sky Community and if you live in, or near a city, you’re missing the night sky! You can sit on our big screened porch, or out on the acreage. If you want to see the sunset over the Wimberley Valley a favorite location is The Shady Llama, a family and pet-friendly beer garden, with a food truck or two.
